ClimaCheck wishes all our colleagues around the world a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
A special thanks for your hard work to make air conditioning and refrigeration systems more efficient and reliable! Together we can make a difference for the future.
2019 has been a year with an increasing focus on climate change even if there are still surprisingly many trying to put their head in the sand and deny what 98% of the scientists are showing.
Slowly I see that the HVACR industry start to wake up and understand that we can’t be bystanders when our systems use 20% of the global electricity and 25% of this is wasted due to inefficient operation.
The HVACR industry need to rethink the old business models when all information can be available online 24/7 and most failures can be avoided. To just refer poor operation to “system problem” caused by others does not help the equipment owners. Equipment owners obviously need to stop believing that a system reaching desired temperature and comfort does not require any attention. Those equipment owners that do not require documentation of efficient operation and do not invest in predictive maintenance will lose competitiveness.
ClimaCheck online is the leading expert system for Predictive Maintenance and optimisation in air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump processes. Engineers get a tool that monitor any number systems 24/7 and highlight any deviations in the efficiencies of any component monitored.
I’m also glad to announce that we just released the new version of the ClimaCheck onsite software used for inspections and maintenance. The SEI dashboard and new graphs makes the visualisation and reporting more effective.
I’m sure 2020 will come with an ever-increasing focus on energy efficiency. The growing number of energy coordinators and sustainability directors will gain more influence in their organisations where often 40-60% of the carbon footprint is caused by refrigeration processes. This can be reduced by low cost optimisation. Failures and down-time can be minimised by predictive maintenance.
We wish you all the best for a more efficient 2020 and we hope to see you at the International training in Stockholm, May 7-8
